New food coloring from Chefmaster just arrived and I wanted to test them out before I really get rolling on Christmas cookies this year. They came highly recommend by many cookie makers and people love that they have a convenient “dropper” top so mixing colors is more accurate. I like the colors – they are very rich and virtually tasteless. I think Ill keep them!

Made a small batch of cookies for testing – here’s some pics…

Love the rich color of the gel coloring with just a drop or two. But ironically, this is the only batch of cookies that will get this much color variety this year as I plan to make a 20-30 dozen cookies this year.  I’m planning “cookie gift boxes” this year for family, friends and neighbors so i’m planned on a minimalist style Christmas cookie decorating (3 or 4 colors) since I will have many cookies to make, bake and decorate!
